We at Konnech Inc., along with our affiliates ("Konnech", "we", "our"), understand the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we manage Sensitive Information uploaded to or collected via our PollChief SaaS platform ("System"). We want you to clearly understand our privacy practices and your choices regarding your Sensitive Information.

We provide election authorities and their designated users with software to help manage elections logistics, including locations, workers, assets, and issue escalation. We generally act as a service provider, collecting and processing data on behalf of our clients. Your data is only available to your organization. This Policy doesn't cover our clients' own privacy practices; please contact them directly for their policies.

Sensitive Information includes Personal Information and other data your organization designates as sensitive.

• Personal Information:  Data that identifies you (e.g., name, ID numbers, location, online identifiers).

• How We Use Your Information:

  • To provide services to your organization as outlined in our contract.

  • To display information, personalize messages, and respond to your requests.

  • To send you notifications from your organization (with your consent).

  • To meet safety and security needs (location data may be used, with your consent).

• Information You Submit: Your organization may ask for text, images, videos, or other content as part of using the System. Some of this may be Sensitive Information related to health, potential criminal activity, or race/ethnicity, if required by your organization to comply with regulations.

• Additional Information Sources:  We may get information from outside organizations if your organization grants them access to the System.

• Your Organization: They have full access to your Personal Information as part of our agreement with them.

• Emergency Personnel: We may share information in emergencies or as required by law.

• Service Providers: We sometimes share information with our service providers who help us deliver services to your organization.

• Third-Party Links and Features: Our System may include these at your organization's request. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

We operate in the United States. Your information will be stored and processed there. We may transfer data to affiliates or other third parties across international borders. Contact support@konnech.com for more details.

We use appropriate measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. We'll keep your information as long as needed to serve your organization, comply with legal requirements, or until your organization requests its deletion.

• Accessing and Updating Information: You can usually update your profile and view your activity within the System.

• California Consumer Rights: If you are a California resident, you have the right to request:

  • Deletion of your Personal Information.

  • Information about whether and how we've used your Personal Information.

  • Specific pieces of Personal Information we hold about you.

  • No discrimination for exercising these rights.

We'll need to verify your identity and jurisdiction. Please provide your first and last name, email, and phone number. An authorized agent can act on your behalf but must provide proof of authorization.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We'll notify you via email or within the System. If you disagree with the changes, please stop using the service and request the deletion of your information.
